Sustainabilty - Teaching ECO Skills course
The course venue is Hotel Bahia Sur, which is located at San Fernando, Cadiz, address: Avenida Caño Herrera, 11100 San Fernando, Cádiz. The venue can be reached by public transport from the Cadiz city center in about 15 minutes. The train station is just outside of the hotel.
Accommodation
This course will take place at “Hotel Bahia Sur”, and we warmly recommend the same hotel accommodation for your convenience. You can book a room or a bungalow for more people. Cheaper accommodation options are available outside Cadiz: El Puerto Real, El Puerto de Santa Maria.

The course venue is located at Hotel Playa VIctoria, Cadiz Gioreta Ing. la Cierva 4, 11010 Cadiz, Spain. It is located in a wonderful gold and send beach, and the area has a lot of shops, restaurants and bars. It is well communicated by train or bus with Puerto de Santa Maria, Jerez de la Frontera (also by boat). The weather in October has an average temperature 19,1º C. The area of Valdelagrana has a natural park called “Los Toruños" very nice to visit in the afternoon.

Connections
Cadiz is less than two hours drive from Seville by trains of Renfe, Spain's national rail network. Regionale trains run frequently from Seville's Santa Justa station, arriving at the modern Cadiz railroad station next to the plaza de Sevilla and the ship harbor on the edge of the city center.
You can use the train to commute to Cadiz, San Fernando Bahia Sur (where is the Venue), or Jerez de la Frontera, or hop on the train from Madrid.
Nearest international airport is Sevilla, San Pablo (SVQ). The airport is 115 Km. from the venue and the best option to arrive to the Hotel Bahía Sur is by train. There is a bus from the airport to Sevilla Santa Justa train station, takes about 30 minutes, where you take the train to Puerto de Santa María, which takes about an hour, and then a train or a bus to the hotel in San Fernando, a 15 - 30 minute ride.

Nearest national airport is Jerez de la Frontera, “la Parra”(XRY). The airport is 27 km away from the venue and the best option to arrive to the Hotel Bahía Sur is by train from the airport to Puerto de Santa María, which takes about 15 minutes. At the train station there is a train or bus that will take you to the hotel in San Fernando, approximately a 15 - 30 minute ride.
Catering options
You have your KA1 grant budget for your accommodation including meals. The half board accommodation includes breakfast and lunch, buffet type. The lunch also includes water and wine with a space reserved for the course group. For dinner, the participant will have a grate choice of restaurants to choose from which offer delicious local food and delicacies.

San Fernando is very close to Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera. Hotels are located in a wonderful gold sand long beach, and the area has a lot of shops restaurants and bars, an it is very well communicated by train, or bus with Puerto de Santa María, Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz (also by boat). The weather in October has an average temperature 19,1º C (day time high average 23 º C). The area of Valdelagrana has a natural park called “Los Toruños", very nice to visit in the afternoon.
San Fernando, Valdelagrana, El Puerto de Santa María, and Cadiz are very old and wonderful cities to visit. This area is close to Jerez de la Frontera and the best scenario for sherry wine and brandy production. Also, you will find a great variety of local food call “tapas”, so that going out in the evening become on a special trip for the senses. There are different type of activities that we will organise depending on demand: bicycle tour to the natural park “Los Toruños", visit of the city of Cadiz in the afternoon, visit to a wine cellar and more.
